Children with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), are disproportionately affected by anxiety, which often hinders their ability to thrive in educational environments. Many students with ASD struggle academically or avoid formal schooling altogether due to overwhelming anxiety that is beyond their control. It is unacceptable that these challenges prevent children from accessing education and realizing their full potential. Recognizing the critical role of anxiety as both a chronic mental health issue and a major barrier to learning for children with ASD, we are committed to improving educational accessibility through innovative, personalized solutions. Our goal is to develop tailored classroom interventions that can detect anxiety in real-time and provide targeted, evidence-based strategies for mitigation, empowering neurodiverse students to fully engage with the world and unlock their potential.
Our neuroadaptive breathing system leverages cutting-edge brain-computer interface (BCI) technology and machine learning to provide real-time anxiety relief. By analyzing individual neural patterns, our system identifies the ideal breathing rhythm to help users regain control over their mental state. Adaptive and dynamic, it continuously adjusts to each user's needs, creating a tailored breathing guide that evolves with their emotional and cognitive responses. This personalized approach enables neurodiverse individuals to address anxiety effectively and reclaim their ability to focus, learn, and thrive.
